Automation engineer [Sweden]

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an automation engineer to perform long term assignments with our major customers in the Skåne area. You will be a Sigma employee and work on assignments between 0.5-3 years at our customers, ensuring a continious career development. In addition we have regular in-house projects - to be elegible for these you need documented experience within OPC, high level programming and/or IT/OT security.

Our head quarter is in Malmö.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

To be relevant for the role you need to have:

• A degree as an engineer in a relevant field
• 2+ years of experience from PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff). Worked with control system integration.
• Some international experience as automation engineer
• Fluency in English. Willingness to learn Swedish.
• EU work permit

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS, PERSONAL TRAITS AND EXPERIENCE

We would also love if you have:

• Experience of technical project management. You have been a team lead and possibly even had financial responsability for projects
• Worked with quality assurance/testing
• Firm understanding of electrical design (softwares such as EPlan)

We expect you to move to the Skåne region.
