We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prosthodontics Reader to join our dental institution. As a Prosthodontics Reader, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of prosthodontics, conducting research, and providing specialized clinical care. Your expertise in prosthodontics will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of dental professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Teach prosthodontics courses to undergraduate and postgraduate dental students.
- Develop and implement curriculum content, ensuring it is up to date and aligned with industry standards.
- Conduct lectures, seminars, and hands-on demonstrations to enhance students' understanding of prosthodontics concepts and techniques.
- Mentor and supervise students during clinical rotations and laboratory exercises.
- Provide guidance and support to students in their research projects related to prosthodontics.
- Evaluate and assess students' progress through assignments, examinations, and practical assessments.
- Stay updated with advancements in prosthodontics and incorporate new knowledge and techniques into the curriculum.
- Engage in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and presentations in prosthodontics.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the overall learning experience and develop interdisciplinary programs.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other academic activities as required.
Qualifications:
- A Master's degree in Prosthodontics or a related field is required.
- Prior experience teaching prosthodontics courses at a dental institution is highly desirable.
- A strong background in prosthodontics clinical care and research.
- Knowledge of current trends, techniques, and materials in prosthodontics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and mentor students.
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Proactive attitude towards staying updated with advancements in prosthodontics.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications and dental imaging technology.
Salary and Benefits: The salary range for the position of Prosthodontics Reader is between 25,000 to 35,000 rupees per month, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and expertise
