Wallace’s Homevalue Hardware is looking for an enthusiastic DELIVERY DRIVER to join our team. This is a part-time permanent position, and the successful candidate will work three days per week, Monday to Saturday, on a roster basis.
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Ensuring the efficient and professional delivery of customers orders.
- Interacting with customers efficiency, in a positive manner, and dealing with any queries they may have.
- Loading, unloading, preparing and operating a delivery vehicle.
- Will be required to cover in the yard when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Full clean driver’s licence is essential, a C Driving licence is preferred.
- Have knowledge of hardware and construction materials.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is desirable.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team.
- Manual handling experience.
- Forklift experience preferable.
